While I primarily photograph inanimate objects, whether landscape or table top arrangements, this body of work was an exercise to get me outside my comfort zone. I'm generally not comfortable photographing people so, sweating bullets, I asked a friend if I could photograph him close up and intimately. The resulting photo shoots were actually enjoyable, allowing me to relate to subject matter in an entirely new way. Ironically, even though the subject is a human male, there is still remains a strong sense of landscape within many of the images.
